The advantages of a condensing water heater
The condensing water heater allows you to heat more water faster. It ensures optimum efficiency thanks to its ability to recover some of the energy that is usually lost by standard models. The condensing water heater is eco-friendly and offers a more efficient combustion of the fuel, and at the same time reduces the polluting emissions.

We provide financial support for the purchase or lease of commercial condensing water heaters with an energy efficiency equal to or greater than 90%. One piece of equipment is eligible for financial assistance: a condensing water heater (without a tank) installed in a multi-unit housing. To be eligible for this discount, the customer must be at Rate 1 (Commercial).
Condensing water heaters intended for centralized use are not eligible for financial assistance.
How do I get the grant?

Send us your pre-admission application
To receive the financial assistance we offer, you must have your pre-admission application approved before the unit is installed.

Get approved by us
We will confirm receipt of the pre-admission form within 10 working days. We accept applications for pre-admission on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to budget availability.

Coordinate the installation of the new unit
You can use any licensed natural gas contractor, but Enbridge Gaz recommends two authorized agents who specialize in natural gas installations:

Submit your application
To do so, you must send us the following items :
- Technical data sheet of the unit.
- A copy of the confirmation of payment for the appliance (The invoice must have been issued in the current year. It must show the model and the date the appliance was installed. The date of installation must be later than the date of approval of your pre-admission application.).

Receive your financial assistance
We will perform a complete analysis of your application. If any information is missing, we will contact you as soon as possible.
You will be informed in writing of the acceptance or refusal of your request for financial assistance as well as the amount granted. A cheque will be mailed to the name and address provided on the application form.
